· The Process

How a shoot
comes together.

The Method

Planned, made, edited,
delivered.

We work the same way for a five-person mutual-aid collective and for a major cultural institution. Same craft. Same standard. The volume scales; the method doesn't change.

  1. Two community members in conversation on a Good Miami Project assignment
    i. Planned

A conversation, then a shot list.

Sixty-minute intake call. We learn the audiences, the channels, and the images currently missing from your archive. We leave with a written brief and a shot list.

  2. A studio-lit portrait made on a Good Miami Project shoot
    ii. Made

    Professional lighting & full kit.

A roster photographer matched to the work shows up with real gear — studio strobes, fast primes, location lights. We shoot on calendar, not on convenience.

    Wk 3–6 · 1–3 shoot days on-site

  3. A finished portrait from a Miami-Dade nonprofit assignment
    iii. Edited

A curated set, not a dump.

Selects, color, sequence. Every final frame is hand-edited. You receive a tight, intentional set built for the brief — not a shared drive of every frame.

    Wk 6–8 · Working editor

  4. A portrait delivered to a Miami-Dade nonprofit for unlimited use
    iv. Delivered

    Unlimited rights, in perpetuity.

Full resolution, web crops, and print-ready files. Use them for fundraising, social, reports, press, billboards, federal testimony — for as long as your mission needs them.
