Greg Clark is a Miami-based photographer whose work focuses on celebrating mission-driven organizations and authentic storytelling. Growing up on Shelter Island, NY, Greg began his journey behind the lens at a young age, shooting for his high school yearbook and the local newspaper. His early experiences included assisting fashion photographers like Dewey Nicks and Chuck Baker. After surviving the 9/11 attacks in New York (2 WTC, 62nd floor), Greg relocated to Miami, where he rebuilt his career, initially focusing on architecture, design, hospitality, and food, with clients such as Ocean Drive Magazine, Florida Design Magazine, and Mr Chow. His work earned him the AIA Miami Photographer of the Year award in 2012.
In 2020, Greg launched the Good Miami Project, a platform dedicated to providing pro bono photography for Miami-based non-profits to help tell their stories. The project, which has partnered with over 45 organizations, focuses on social and environmental causes, often through environmental portraiture and documentary-style images. The initiative has led to exhibits in prominent public spaces and earned Greg an Oolite Arts Creator Award in 2023.
Greg also serves on the boards of Miami Waterkeeper, Impact Edition, Nana’s Restart, and Project Transforming Hope. His career extends beyond photography to
Greg’s photography is driven by a belief in the power of visual storytelling to create connections and foster understanding, helping to make the world a little better by truly seeing one another.
